This piece is an 18"x24" oil on canvas panel original painting. The Daisies were from my backyard here in Brightwaters. Montauk daisies, also known as Nippon daisies, are native to China and Japan. However, they were given their common name ‘Montauk daisies’ because they have naturalized on Long Island NY, all around the town of Montauk!
